Benny the bus is out having a great time out at the Indy 500 for a few days. We have been cleaning, refurbishing and upgrading several systems in preparation for the summer. One of the largest upgrades was that Benny now has a power generator added to his underbelly. We have also added a Air Conditioner, and are planning to add one more Air Conditioning unit soon. The entire cooling system has been drained and cleaned and every coolant hose has been replaced with new. This was a large job as the cooling system holds 77 quarts, that’s nearly 20 gallons (19.25) if you don’t know your math conversions. Combating the powerful sun’s rays that want to heat the inside of the bus is also something we have been working on. We have been adding solar UV blocking films to the windows and a nice front canvas window cover for use when the bus is parked or stored.
We are planning a multi state photography studio tour near the fourth of July holiday. Starting in Indiana a fun group of pro photographers will board the bus and head to Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri stopping each day at a different studio for learning, and sharing.
